wPrime
wPrime is one of the quickest ways to gauge the performance of a processor. Since we were able to get higher clocks on the MSI board with our 4770k, the results of course have a nice improvement over them. It’s not much, but keep in mind we are dealing with the same volts. The MSI board also pulls ahead slighty in both Stock and XMP tests as well. Again, not much, but the same processor is preforming better on the MSI board straight away.
Cinebench R15
Cinebnech is another excellent way of quickly measuring performance of your CPU. Here we can again see the MSI board pulling ahead and even more so with the Stock/Auto settings, which is pretty surprising.
