Another massive lead for the 5960x with the Queen benchmarks inside Aida64. The rest of the benchmarks don’t see much movement across the board, even with the faster 5960x. None the less, the 5960x is still pulling ahead with them all.
Funny, here we can see the slower memory on the 3960x still out-perform the 4770k with faster memory. The 3960x OC actually beats all of the 5960x write speed results, simply because it has better performing RAM. The 5960x regains the lead with read and copy speeds on the XMP and OC results. The 3960x simply can’t catch up with it’s older memory controller. It’s still early days for DDR4 RAM and in time we will see the performance take the lead across the board.
