wPrime
wPrime is showing us straight away just how more powerful the 5960x really is. Comparing the 4770k to the 5960x, we can see nearly double performance when both CPU’s are overclocked. The 5960x even performs better at stock compared to the overclocked 6-core 3960x. We’re already loving this CPU. We must admist, getting lower than 100 seconds on wPrime is insane.
Cinebench R15
Again, we just see the 5960x taking a massive lead against the 3960x and 4770k. Even at stock the 5960x is unbelievably powerful and scores 230 points above an overclocked 3960x and just under 450 points above the overclocked 4770k.
