HTC have finally announced the HTC One again putting an end to all the leaks much like other announcements we have last month. Entering the world of bigger devices that include company such as the Galaxy Note/mega series and Sony’s Z Ultra, the new device shares many of the same specs from its smaller sibling the HTC One like he 4MP Ultrapix camera, the Snapdragon 600 chipset with the CPU clocked at 1.7Ghz along with 2GB of RAM. The Sense 5.5 UI is also much in the same way unchanged but includes the ability to shut off blink feed and other minor adjustments. The HTC One will also be running Android 4.3 from launch.

The biggest difference is of course the 5.9-inch 1080p display that makes this a pretty massive device and HTC have also thrown in a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device for unlocking it without the need of password. Overall the design of the device is similar to that of the HTC One with it obviously just being much bigger but we now also have a removable back cover that gives you access to the sim card slot and finally a MicroSD slot to expand the memory up to 64GB, on top of the 16/32GB included. Measurements of the device come in at 164.5 x 82.5 x 10.29mm making it an extremely big device but the weight be a whopping 217g makes this one of the heaviest device out there. Lastly we have the 3,300mAh battery which should provide some decent lastly performance. Check out the full specs, press release and first look video below for more info on the HTC One Max.
