Microsoft’s next generation of console is almost here and we now have a firm date on when gamers can get their hands on the consoles. The Xbox Series X was known for some time now, and the Series S had some leaks, but is also now official.
Both consoles will be avaialble for pre-order starting September 22nd and will arrive on November 10th. The Xbox Series S will cost €299 and the Xbox Series X is €499.
While the Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s offer of 4K gaming with support for up to 120Hz refresh rate. The Xbox Series S has less performance under its hood and will offer 1440p gaming with 120hz refresh rate as an option. This performance numbers will be ranged as ultimately developers can push quality over FPS. Some games will offer the choice of choosing between quality and fps – must like PC gaming.
Xbox All Access Subscription
Microsoft’s launch of the next generation of consoles is being lined up with their subscription services that they have done in the past that offered a console for a monthly fee. The latest generation is getting the same treatment with Microsoft offering an All Access monthly subscription that runs for 24 months. This not only includes the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, but also includes the console itself.
The Xbox Series S will cost $25 per month and the Xbox Series X will cost $35 per month. At the end of the 24 months, the console is yours forever. This deal works out cheaper than if buying the console and Game Pass separately. Below is a list of the countries the subscription will be available.
Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Korea, South Korea, Sweden, UK, and United States.
