Sony have announced the successor to the Smart watch which is being called the Smart watch 2, simple right? The new smart watch will see a slew of updates in terms of performance, style and UI compared to the original device. The new device dispay has built for better sun-light reading and is 1.6-inch is size with a resolution of 220 x 176. The housing now sports IP57 dust and water resistant features, making it a more resilient than its predecessor.
The device sports Bluetooth 3.0 and NFC for quick paring. You can handle most of your notifications as you did with the original smart watch, such as message, phones calls and of course control your music. The watch also allows you to take pictures remotely and navigate Google maps. More functionality will of course come following the release, which is set for sometime in September with an unknown price tag.
