Samsung/Google postpone Nexus/Android 4.0 event in respect for Steve Jobs passing

The even which was schedualed for October 11th by Google and Samsung has reportedly been postponed in repect for the passing of Steve Jobs.The shocking news of Steve Jobs passing came on Wenesday with repsect from the entire world for the legacy left behind by Jobs.  Google/Samsung have shown the respect and released a statement about the event.

“We believe this is not the right time to announce a new product as the world expresses tribute to Steve Jobs’s passing,” the spokesperson said. “We do not have information on the rescheduling of the event.”

The event is said to be the launch of the next Nexus successor which might be called the Nexus Prime or The Samsung Galaxy Nexus. There is also reports that the event will be the official unveiling of Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich. Seeing as there has not been any new date for the event other then the word is that it will be launched before November.
