Samsung have just announced there planes on ICS for current devices. The Samsung Galaxy SII and Note and the first that will be upgraded to the new OS from Google. There hasnt been an exact date, But they have stated the first quater of 2012 will be the deadline for those two devices with other devices soon after.
The devices that are getting the ICS upgrade are the GALAXY S II, GALAXY S II LTE, GALAXY Note, GALAXY R, GALAXY Tab 10.1, GALAXY Tab 8.9, GALAXY Tab 7.7, and GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus.
Hopefully it won’t be too long into the new year until we can all experience ICS on are devices. There may also be delay in getting it for device even after official release depending on your network and country, But that doesn’t mean you can just installed the generic version.
