Nexus Player launches this November running Android TV

The Nexus Player has just been announced. The little set-top box is made by Asus and will features a 1.8Ghz Intel Atom CPU. The little media player will be the first to feature Android TV and support everything we have seen from the Chromecast, but will also support running Android Apps directly and gaming on the unit is there as well.

The player will be available for pre-order on Friday the 17th of October and arrives on November 10th. Pricing for the unit is set at $99 and users can pick up the separate joypad for $39, if they wish to start gaming on the unit.
