Microsoft have announced that Windows 8 will drop on the October 28th

Microsoft have announced that Windows 8 will officially be released on October 28th. It was expected to be release around that time, but we didn’t have a specific date, Microsoft have made it clear now. Their next big Window OS release will drop months from now. Windows 8 brings with it more changes than any previous Windows launch and that isn’t including the entire new Metro UI which adds better support for touch screens. We will also see the ARM version of Windows 8 aswell. This is no doubt going to be a big year for Windows and everything comes down to the success of Windows 8 at launch and it’s expected to be big.

Remember, the release preview has been available for sometime now, so if you wish to get your hands on it, just head over here and download the version you wish to install.
