Microsoft have just announced that Phil Spencer will take over as head of Xbox, after Marc Whitten departed to join Sonos. Spencer was the lead for Microsoft Studio and in charge of the gaming brought to the Xbox Platform. Microsoft is now combing the Xbox and Xbox Live teams with the Microsoft Studio team. This means that Spencer will be leading Xbox, Xbox Live, Xbox Music and Video, and finally Microsoft Studios teams.
