AMD have just appointed Lisa Su as the new CEO. This comes as previous CEO and President Rory Reed stepped down from those respective positions. Reed will stay on as an advisor until the end of the year. The board have put emphasis on Su as a technology expert with very colourful past in electrical engineering and are putting a person will real true technical knowledge for fuhrer lead the company.
