HTC have jumped on the announcement trail just after Google announced Android 4.4, informing consumers that both the developer edition and sim free version of the HTC One will receive an update to the Chocolate named Android OS (KitKat) within 30 days and the Google Play Edition will get in in the next 15 days. Other network locked variants are also said to get the update within 90 days, although some networks may take longer than others.
