HTC are keeping the HTC One relevant with the Google Edition device getting the newest Android version (4.4 KitKat) via OTA update today. Anyone that forked out the money for the Google Edition smartphone can now update to the latest Android firmware which brings along increase performance, better battery life and more. Regular HTC One users can expect the update by the end of January, it will of course include the HTC Sense UI and custom software features.
