HTC have just announced the HTC One Mini 2, bringing the design of the HTC One M8 to a smaller/more affordable device. The HTC One Mini 2 features a 4.5-inch HD display, 13MP rear facing camera(No depth sensor) and 5MP front facing camera. Inside the device will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1.2Ghz quad-core CPU(tbc). Much like the HTC One M8, the device comes with Dual facing stereo speakers featuring HTC’s BoomSound technology, HTC Blinkfeed is also present, along with Sense 6.0 and finally HTC’s Zoe is also on board and uses the 13MP camera to do the same tricks it does on the M8.
The HTC One Mini 2 comes in gun-metal gray, glacial silver, and amber gold, all with brushed metal curved housing, just like on the HTC One M8. The new smartphone arrives this July 1st with pricing to be confirmed.
