Google purchase of Motorola finally complete

Finally Google have completed their purchase of the company Motorola. The initial purchase began back in August 2011 and has finally been completed nearly a year later. This was due to the decision being made by the U.S, the EU and of course China and with that China were the holdout for the longest period and the reason was due to the fact they wanted to make sure Google would continue to confirm that Android would stay free and open.

The statement comes directly from Larry page, Co-founder and current CEO of Google, he announced the upcoming changes at Motorola and with that the new appointed CEO Dennis Woodside who is taking over for Sanjay Jha. Woodside was previously served his position as President and SVP at the Google Americas region.
