Google gets the thumbs up from the US for Motorola Purchase

It’s only been a few hours since the EU signed off on the Motorola acquisition by Google. The United States has also thrown up two giant thumbs a giving the go ahead for the purchase. This was likely to happen this week, But the same day is pretty quick.

The Department of Justice posted the information on, They have a giant statement about the whole thing, Here is a simply statement, The division concluded that the specific transactions at issue are not likely to significantly change existing market dynamics.

Much like what the European Comission stated aswell.

This is great news for Google and it only leaves, China, Israel and Taiwan to either allow or continue there review process over the transaction, But it’s doubtful to see any issue. Check out the source for more information.
