The new line up of Pixel devices are finally official. The rumors that have been roaming around for sometime now can finally stop and yes, they were mostly spot on. The new round of devices are mid-range refreshes of the previous flagship series from the Android creator.
Both devices are almost identical bar screen size and battery capacity. Inside we have a snapdragon 670 chipset, along with 4GB#s of RAM and 64GB’s of storage. Both devices include the amazing 12.2MP rear facing camera along with all the bells and whistles like Google AI, HDR, Night shots and more. The front facing camera is a single 8MP sensor.
The display side of things is 5.6-inches on the Pixel 3a and 6-inches on the Pixel 3a XL. Both include 2,140 x 1,080 OLED displays. The overall design of the devices is less premium and more plastic, but for that, and the less processing power, we get a cheaper device that should perform pretty well. Also great news, the 3.5mm headphones jack is back.
The Pixel 3a is priced at €399 and the Pixel 3a XL is €479. Not the cheapest mid range devices, but definitely with some of the best cameras avaialble. The new devices are avaialble to order right now.
