PlayJam have pushed the launch of the upcoming GameStick, the Android powered games console that was crowd funded on Kickstarter at the beginning of the year. The launch is now set for October 29th in the US/UK and will arrive in Europe, Canada and the middle east before the end of the year. The delay was caused due to issues that raised during testing that PlayJam CEO wishes to resolve before launching the device.

The GameStick completed it’s KickStarter back in Feburary, racking in way more than it’s initial goal, reaching a total of $647k. Backers received their units and since then playJam have been working hard to complete the unit for a full retail launch. Those production units are now set to be delivered to retailers in the coming weeks.
