Asus officially announce VivoTab Note 8 tablet running Windows 8.1

Asus are brining their own 8-inch tablet running full Windows 8.1 to the market. The new VivoTab Note 8 joins the series of tablets from Asus and is running the fill version of Windows 8.1 and does not come with Windows RT as seems to be a bigger trend nowadays. The 8-inch table has a IPS display with 1,280 x 800 resolution and stylus support. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom Z3740 processor with 2GB of RAM. It has up to 64GB storage options and supports a MicroSD card. The VivoTab also has a 5MP rear facing camera and 1080p front facing camera.

Finally the dimensions and weight come in at 220.9 x 133.8 x 10.95mm and 380g. Availability and pricing have yet to be announced. check out the source link or press release below for more information.
