Another teardown – Apple’s 2011 iMac

Apple’s new iMacs are rolling out for 2011, With some very nice new specs. It was only a matter of time before they got thorn apart so the consumers could see what they were all about. The guys over an iFixit are doing the heavy lifiting here and disassembling the unti(And putting it back together aswell). Inside is lovely LG-produced IPS display and a Sony Optiarc optical drive, Also found Intel controller for the infamous Thunderbolt port on board  The AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics chip and a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 CPU are found to be sitting ever so comfortably in there aswell.
