AMD Ryzen 7 officially ships 2nd of March, pre-orders start now

AMD have finally released the full details, including pricing on some of their upcoming Ryzen CPU’s. AMD will be releasing the Ryzen 7 series first, which includes the 1700, 1700X, and 1800X. All 8-core 16-thread processors that are set to being some real disturbance to the CPU market.

Yeah, those prices are pretty much insane, and AMD are proud to annonce they have not only accomplished their goal, but beat it by reaching 52-percent increase in IPC over the last generation. This is the real milestone of Ryzen, and is exactly how AMD are bringing such hign end processors to the market, but more importantly their doing so with market shattering prices.

The processors are set to launch on March 2nd and will be sold by over 180 retailers, with pre-orders already avaialble on some retailers. We’re very eager to see AMD return to the high performance market and offer some real competition and shake things up a little.
