AMD have announced their Ryzen Threadripper series, which take the core count of Ryzen 7 and go up. The new line up of processors will features 10-core, 12-core, 14-core, and 16-core processors; giving it a pretty substantial leap over their previous 8-core Ryzen 7 CPU’s.
AMD haven’t released any more details beyond the max 16-core 32-thread spec, and their aim for the worlds fastest ultra-premium desktop systems. Thankfully they do include the release which is set for this summer.
