Microsoft have posted their Q4 results of 2012 and they are some serious impressive results indeed, reaching a total of $18.06 billion in revenue for the quarter ending June 30th. Their net profit however is at a loss equating to $492 million.
Now they would have easily gained a profit increase this quarter compared to last years $5.87 billion net profit if it wasn’t for the massive loss on the collapsed aQuantive deal that cost Microsoft $6.2 billion.
Looking more into Microsoft revenue report we can see which divisions are doing better or worse and their Business and server divisions stands out easily with 7 and 13 percent increases respectively.
Microsoft obviously have a lot a head with the launch of Windows 8 now slated for October 28th release and of course the amount of business that will of course follow afterwards.
