Samsung on the internet highway is that a few of the new Galaxy SIII models will be delayed by as much as 1-4 weeks. The models that are being delayed are the 16/32GB blue and the 32GB white version. The 16GB white version is apparently of course for launch tomorrow and users who pre-ordered it should expect delivery. The obvious millions of those that ordered the other version however will be hit with disappointed not just over a delay, but somewhat uncertainty of when their new smart phone will arrive.
Samsung have released a statement over the issue for the pebble blue delay.
“Samsung’s GALAXY S III Pebble Blue version comes with a newly invented blue colour and special hyperglaze material. In order to meet the highest internal quality standards and to provide the best quality GALAXY S III to customers, a short supply of Pebble Blue version is expected in some regions in the next 2-3 weeks.
Samsung is working hard to ensure that customers will get the Pebble Blue coloured devices as soon as possible.”
Samsung are blaming the delay on the pebble blue version due to its new manufacturing procedure that has apparently turned out to have some issues. We will keep you updated with any new information as it’s released.
