Microsoft believe they can do better with a stripped down version of their OS. While Microsoft have done things like this before, their new version is aimed at bringing a more simple version of the OS to market. Windows 10 S will remove support for Non-Windows-Store apps in an effort of providing a more simple and secure version of the OS.
It’s clear that Microsoft are aiming at those more keen on Chromebooks with easy going and more battery orientated designs. Something that Windows 10 itself can’t offer with it’s wide array of features.
Windows 10 S is set to arrive this Summer with devices being price just under $200 and ranging upwards.
