YES, it’s a leak about the upcoming Galaxy S III courtesy of Vietnamese site Tinhte. The video posted has since been taken down, but luckily we got it in time and you can check it out below. Currently there is no way to confirm if any of this is accurate, but let’s take a look at the reported specs and they do look to be what we have been expecting from previous rumours. 1.4 GHz quad core processor with 1GB of ram. The camera comes in at 8 Megapixels which is the same as the Galaxy S II and of the Galaxy Note. The SGS III has the typical 16GB storage and of course a MicroSD slot for expanding your needs. The display is reported to have a resolution of 720 x 1184. The device is running ICS and rather smoothly of course. The device also houses a 2050 mAh battery.
The peeps over at Engadget got onto Samsung and their official response is below.
“We will be able to tell you more at the 2012 Samsung Mobile Unpacked.”
While this isn’t a confirmation, let’s be honest. It probably might has well been. Either way, May 3rd is just a few weeks away and of course all details of it will be covered here. Check out the video below for the quick hands video posted on tinhte.
