Cinebench is a quick way to determine the processing power of your CPU by rendering a photo-realistic image. The 6700k and the MSI Z170 Gaming M5 show a solid jump over the previous Haswell architecture with both Z87 and Z97 boards.
The latest from Intel even comes close to matching the 6-core Sandy-bridge monster from 3 years ago, but sadly doesn’t come close to touching the X99 Haswell-E 8-Core 5960x enthusiast stuff.
