Test Setup and Overclocking
Now it’s time for the numbers. Below are the settings used for each test, with all being included with the graphs to follow. We set up the board with the 6700k on stock settings, then flipped on the XMP settings ,and then finally moved to overclocking.
Stock (RAM @ 2,400MHz)
XMP (RAM @ 2,666MHz)
Overclocked (RAM @ 2,666MHz)
We pushed our overclock up to 4.7GHz with 1.4v. however, 4.8Ghz was possible with more volts at around 1.45, but the temps were going beyond the threshold. 4,7GHz at 1.4V gave is a very stable overclock with zero temperatures issues with the Corsair H100i AIO.
