Nvidia cutting GTX 1080 price by €100 & providing overclocked memory for GTX 1080/1060 GPU’s

Nvidia not only announced their new flagship graphics card; they also released details on new enhanced versions of the GTX 1080 and GTX 1060 that their partners can offer to customers by way of using new overclocked memory. Nvidia also announced the GTX 1080 will see a price cut of €100/$100 starting today. This will also bring the Nvidia Founders edition cards down by €150/$150 for the GTX 1080 FE and down by €50/$50 for the GTX 1070 FE.

Future GTX 1080 and GTX 1060 GPU’s can utilise faster memory speeds from Nvidia. The 1080 will be running 11Gbps GDDR5X and the 1060 running 9Gbps GDDR5 memory speeds.
