While this is being marketed as the smallest VR capable device, and will be able to handle a some VR aspects other than highest end VR Gaming. The high end NUC  should easily be able to offer 1080p@60fps with high settings.

The device has a pretty large array of connections avaialble, with Dual Ethernet, two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, 2 x miniDP ports, 4 x USB 3 ports, HDMI, and finally 3.5mm/optical connection. That’s just the back, on the front we have an SD Card reader, USB 3.0, USB 3.1, USB type-C, and headphone hack. Inside we have another USB port, and 2 x m.2 Slots for storage, which along with RAM you will have to supply yourself.
