Acer have announced the first Windows 8 device with an 8-inch display.. well 8.1 to be exact. The new device will be running Windows 8 and the specs include a 1,280 x 800 display and Intel’s Atom Dual-Core Z2560 clocked at 1.8GHz which have seen on quite a few devices announced today at Computex. The other specs are the front and rear facing 2MP cameras, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi Micro HDMI out and Micro USB connection.
The device will come in two different sizes with the 32GB priced at €329 and the 64GB coming in at €379. The optional keyboard accesory (picture above) priced at €69. The new tablet will be available for pre-order tomorrow and will be shipping before the end of June.
