Microsoft’ during their build conference detailed their next big update for Windows 10, which shall be arriving this Fall and is dubbed the Fall Creators update. It said to be including even more new features than the just released Spring update.
Timeline
A new feature detailed already is Timeline, which will give users access to their previous workloads. Simply using the task switcher, users can see previous apps that were running and pick up exactly where they left off, and this goes back days, if not longer. Also, More importantly this feature will work across multiple devices; including Android and iOS (when the application supports it of course). This allows users to switch to different computers and allows for a much smoother transition when doing so.
Graph
Graph is the foundation for Timeline, but concentrates its efforts by bridging Windows and Mobile together and allows for a seamless transition between the two, and allows you to keep track of your workload; both current and previous. It also brings copy and paste between device as well.
One Drive
Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore detailed that One Drive would be getting a bigger integration into Windows, and soon users will be able to access their files directly on the computer without the need to download them first. Basically having the computer act as if the files are stored locally.
