As expected, we’re getting more information regarding Andorid N during the Google I/O event. The new beta that is now avaialble for certain Nexus devices and is being called an incremental update (Update 3) to the previous available beta.
A big addition however, is the inclusion of automated updates, whereas Android N can now download a full update in the background and install it whenever you may restart your device. This removes the headaches of a lot of Android updates, and pushes them more quickly to users. It also thankfully removes the Android is updating prompt.
