The Xperia Z4 was announced in Japan as Sony took to the stage to share details on their latest flagship device. Most of the specs are fairly similar to its predecessor. The device includes a similar design with 5.2-inch 1080p display, metal frame with IP68 water-proofing cert. The device is now thinner coming in at just 6.9mm thick.
Internals now include the latest Snapdragon 810 chipset from Qualcomm clocked at 2.0Ghz and 1.5Ghz. RAM is a decent 3GB and internal storage is 32GB with a MicroSD slot available. We have the same rear facing camera, but Sony have gone for a wide angle front facing camera this time around.
Release for the Xperia Z4 is set for the summer in Japan and hopefully most of the word around the same time, but sadly we have yet to hear anything regarding a launch outside of Japan.
