Western digital have announced a new product dubbed My Book Duo. The new storage option contains 2 hard drives with total capacities ranging from 4TB, 6TB, and lastly 8TB. The device uses USB 3.0 and offers speeds up to 290MB/s with RAID 0 and RAID 1 options available for either performance or redundancy your desire. The My Book Duo also includes 256-bit AES hardware encryption and password protection. Software wise the duo includes includes WD SmartWare Pro for cloud support on Dropbox for specific files.
