While we’re not getting a new flagship smartphone from Sony; we are getting a new mid-range device with some fairly solid specs. The Xperia M4 Aqua design is very similar to that of the Xperia Z3 from last year. The phones housing includes water/dust proofing, which the name probably already gave away, and the fact that’s now Sony’s thing. The screen is 5-inches and has a 720p resolution. Inside is Qualcomms Snapdragon 615 chipset. This offers a 64-bit octa-core setup with integrated LTE support.

The rear shooter is a 13MP sensor with F2.0 aperture and the front facing camera is a 5MP sensor with wide-angled lens. The M4 Aqua will be running Android 5.0 and more importantly the price is set at €299. This makes it a fair solid offering with a decent pricetag. The Xperia M4 arrives Spring 2015 in 80 countries.
