Review: Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD

Conclusion
In the SSD world, there are many competitors and at the end of the day most of them use the same controller and alot use the same NAND flash. The Kingston is no different, but does have the advantage of having a few tweaks here and there and of course these relate directly to the speed of the device. The Kingston HyperX 120GB performs extremely well and does so with great value. Currently the device would cost you around €160-170 and for the performance you get, you really cannot go wrong. The cost works out at around €1.35-1.4 per GB and while you can easily get a cheaper SSD. None will offer the same performance as the Kingston.

At the end of the day it really does come that to cost + performance and the Kingston does in fact nail it. Kingston do include a nice 3 year warranty with the device and the fact it comes with the 3.5″ bracket is a nice bonus aswell. If you are looking for an SSD that performs well and won’t break the bank doing so. Then you should most definitely be looking at the HyperX 120GB.

The Kingston HyperX 120GB get’s the Geek tech Gold award for amazing performance that doesn’t cost and arm and a leg.
