Review: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X

PC Mark and 3D Mark

Lastly we have some PCMark and 3DMark tests to take a look at. PCMark is more real world performance, and is aimd at providing benchmark numbers for real applications usage.

PCMark

Here the higher clocker performance takes a massive lead throughout the tests, however we do know from experience Adobe software can greatly benefit from more cores. In the short term however, we can see even an overclocked 4770K take a lead over the 5960x and 1700x.

3DMark

Gaming at high resolution as never really be to demanding on CPU’s and currently even a 5960x could end up anywhere on the board. Here we can only see a couple of percent differences across the board, and most likely in some cases within margin of error. That being said, it’s good to see that AMD hardware wont’t be a problem when it comes to high end gaming, and offer top of the line performance.

8. PC Mark and 3D Mark
