OnePlus 6 announced, arrives May 22nd starting at €519,

OnePlus have just announced their next flagship device. For those not keeping count, we’re now at 6. The new OnePlus 6 arrives 5 months after the launch of the OnePlus 5T, so perhaps OnePlus are going to be doing a 6 month release cycle more consistently.

The latest from OnePlus starts by offering a mostly glass with gorilla glass 5 on the front and back. The body has a subtle curve on the back for a more comfortable grip and is definitely one of the nicest OnePlus devices to launch. Just remember there will be fingerprints.

The device uses the latest from Qualcomm with the Snapdragon 845 chipset with either 6 or 8GB’s of RAM. You also get 64/128/256GB’s storage options as well.

The device includes a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with 19.9 ratio and 2,280 x 1,080 resolution. The display also includes a notch at the top for the front facing camera and display.

The OnePlus 6 includes the popular dual camera setup with a 16MP Sony IMX 519 1.22µm sensor with f1.7 aperture and OIS+EIS. The secondary camera is a 20MP Sony IMX 376K 1.0µm sensor with f1.7 aperture.

Other specs for the new phone include a 3,300mAh battery with Dash charging. Dual nano sim slots, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, Fingerprint sensor (rear).

The device arrives May 22nd and there will be a good few varying editions of the device. Starting at the bottom with 6GB’s of RAM and 64GB of storage for $529/£469/€519 (only in Mirror Black), moving up to 8GB’s of RAM with 128GB’s of storage for $579/£519/€569 (all three colors), and lastly 8GB’s of RAM with 256GB’s of storage for $629/£569/€619 (Midnight Black).  The Silk White edition will arrive a little later on June 5th.
