Sony release Xperia Z Source code and ability to unlock Boot loader, weeks before device launch

By Craig O Sullivan - On Feb 12th 2013 - in Smartphones and Tablets 0 Comment

Xperia Z 4
Sony today released the source code for their upcoming smartphone the Xperia Z. The smartphone which was announced at CES earlier this year with specs showing a seriously impressive device to say the least(1080p 5″ display, 1.5GHz Quad-Core CPU, 2GB ram and 13.1MP camera) . Sony want to make sure this device pleases all markets and to insure that they have already released the source code for the device, obviously with the source code release the Xperia Z and Zl will have the ability to unlock its boot loader. This should easily make developers and custom rom/kernal makers very happy and puts the device on more peolpes lists if it wasn’t already there.
