Review: Intel DZ77GA-70K and Intel Core i7-3770k

Conclusion

Now it’s time to sum up both the performance of the DZ77GA-70K and 3770K. The motherboard does exactly what it’s meant to do and provide decent performance across the board, it doesn’t offer anything that isn’t already available. The fact is that Intel have already made killer motherboards and chipsets before and now they have only themselves to beat and that means they are the only competition.

The motherboard was of course not meant to be the best on the market, but it does cater to a lot of needs and by no way does it under perform.

The processor however is somewhat difficult to give a distinct conclusions. It’s fast, powerfull and cheap. It’s everything you would want, but the problem is that we already have those options from the last generation of processors. The 2500 and 2600 processors offer more in the overclocking ability but the 3770 does offer improved graphics. The fact does remain if you are in need of a new setup than there is no reason the 3770 isn’t the best choice, but there really is no need to upgrade if you currently already own a decent last gen rig..

Now while the previous gen offer similar performance there is no doubt the new gen offers amazing performance none the less and do so for a great price. So for this fact they get the gold reward.
