Review: Asus 3GB 7970 DirectCUII graphics card

Conclusion

Now it’s time to say what we really think of the Asus 3GB 7970 DirectCUII graphics card and to be honest this really is going to be a short conclusions for one reason and that is that this card is insane. it supports up 6 monitors with the 4 x DisplayPort and 2 x DVI connections for a hell of an awesome eyefinity set up and that is also compounded by the fact it has 3GB of memory to play around with for those high resolution set ups. The two 100MM fan keep the graphics card nice and cool and do so while staying quiet.

The triple slot card even handles overclocking like a dream and does so without increasing temps by much(if at all) and again does so staying pretty much silent. This card truly is a triple threat when it comes to performance, temperature and noise. Asus have aimed high with this card we believe they hit it spot on and this is easily a card that other manufactures will be aiming to beat and good luck to them.

We can’t help but be impressed with the Asus 3GB 7970 DirectCU II and overall it easily deserves a Gold award!

To sum it up, if you are looking for a card that offers amazing performance with great room for overclocking and does it all while staying quiet and includes the ability for up to six monitors, then the Asus 7970 DirectCUII is exactly the card you are looking for, it does come at a higher price than reference cards, but you are paying for the silence and ability to set up 6 monitors from one card.
