Google have taken the wraps off their own VR headset that was originally announced back at their I/O Developer conference in May. The design of DayDream headset is made up mostly of fabric instead of traditional hard plastic, as an obvious effort to keep the weight down.

Controlling the headset is done using the included motion controller, that thankfully has a place inside the headset for keeping it safe when not using it. Google’s own Pixel devices are the first support for the new VR headset, with other phones also set to be supported, but sadly no official list is avaialble just yet.

The headset arrives this November is already avaialble for pre-order for $80/£69.
