Apple Q2 earnings in: $39.2 billion in revenue and $11.6 in net profit

Apple had an amazing last quarter and are at it again this quarter. Reaching $39.2 billion in revenue and a whopping $11.6 billion in juicy net profit. This is all thanks to the massive sale in iPhones and iPads with the iPhone reaching 35.1 million sales and the iPad reaching 11.8 million sales. News of Apple’s success is hitting the net fast and looking at previous records you can see that every year for the pass two years of the same quarter Apple have doubled there profits.

The year-over-year increase was fueled primarily by iPad and iPhone sales.
We established new March records for both desktops and portables.
“The iTunes Store generated $1.9b in revenue, a record. Let’s turn to iPhone. We saw an 88 year-over-year growth in iPhone sales. We experience very strong iPhone sales growth in all                segments, lead by AsiaPac, where it doubled year-over-year.” China was also a majorly strong market for iPhone this quarter. The iPhone 4S is sold on over 230 carriers right now.
“365 million iOS devices are now in play, with over 50 million sold this quarter. The App Store has over 600,000 apps, with over 200,000 apps specifically for iPad. iCloud has over 125 million customers signed up since its launch in October.

There is no doubt that Apple are jumping with the results of this quarter. Their amazing sales in both iPhone and iPad devices is no doubt stunning and will set Apple apart for years to come.
